Job Objective

LMP Education is a company seeking qualified instructors to teach AEB remote courses. The position entails approved delivery and assessment activities for a variety of sectors, including mental health awareness, SEND, Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, IAG, challenging behaviors, safeguarding, digital skills, customer service, and autism. The qualification range extends all the way up to and including level 3. Furthermore, good lesson planning is necessary, as is ensuring that activities are tailored based on individual student requirements. In addition, you will need to provide training, coaching, and evaluation that successfully aids learners in developing vocational skills in order to develop and prepare learners for and in the workplace.

Responsibilities [The tasks/responsibilities stated here are not exhaustive:]

Administrative and Strategic Planning

  • Maintain accurate learner records, and ensure that all evidence for all visits is easily accessible and available for audit and quality reasons.
  • Implement any improvements discovered through performance assessments and internal quality assurance.
  • Develop and retain professional and vocational knowledge, skills, and experience through formal training, CPD, and networking with peers. Self-reflection is being used to enhance practice.
  • Ensure that math and English are incorporated inside or provided separately as needed.

Collaboration and Coaching

  • Conduct regular and meaningful evaluations with learners to ensure they are engaged in the program and making good progress compared to their starting place.
  • Plan lessons successfully, ensuring that activities are unique and differentiated for individual learners, and that learner assistance is assessed, reviewed, implemented, and evaluated effectively throughout the learner's journey.
  • Monitor learner progress and ensure that all kinds of teaching, learning, and assessment for each aspect of the qualification are completed, allowing learners to satisfy the requirements for qualification accomplishment.
  • Train, assess, inspire, coach, and support learners in order to help them build personal and social skills that will better equip them for employment, advancement, and life.
  • Participate in standardization and team meetings, as well as any needed ongoing professional development.
  • Provide learners with excellent teaching, learning, and assessment.

Compliance and Training

  • Promote and provide training in compliance with qualification and center criteria, including equality and diversity promotion and prevention in classes.
  • Adhere to all statutory duties and ensure that Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevention policies and procedures are always implemented.
  • Maintain high quality and compliance standards, and complete any contractual papers and documentation as needed.

The requirements

  • Functional skills at Level 2, Math, English, and ICT
  • Level 3 award evaluating occupational accomplishment or equivalent
  • PTLLS, AET, or DET certification
  • Level 4 award in the assessment process and practice quality assurance or equivalent (desirable)

The experience

  • Proven expertise in online/in-person learning, teaching, and evaluation.
  • Experience providing financed employability programs (including recognized and non-accredited certificates)
  • Work experience with jobless persons on initiatives that promote positive results
  • Experience dealing with persons who face challenging challenges to advancement
  • Internal quality assurance experience and understanding of awarding body requirements
  • IT expertise is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact with coworkers and applicants.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Unsupervised ability to plan and organize one's own caseload and journal
  • Capable of meeting and exceeding retention and accomplishment criteria for credentials and advancement
  • The capacity to increase and sustain candidate numbers in accordance with budgets and delivery profiles.
  • A kind, accessible team member with a can-do attitude.
