Needs
- Do you really understand the culture of sports? Is writing what you love to do? Can you produce humorous, entertaining, educational, provocative, and inspirational social-first copy? across a variety of sports brands? Is everyone on the same day? Well, a sports writer is what we're searching for.
- Your job involves following and writing about sports on social media for major global sports brands, managing significant accounts in your neighborhood, and creating original text that draws on sports culture. Ideally, you will be knowledgeable about football culture, running culture, and other sports-related cultures. You will be expected to carry out research assignments that get right to the heart of what a brand's community wants to engage with on social media as part of your job.
- You must be able to adapt to writing for various brands and be aware of the kind of content that do well on various social media platforms. You must be aware of how TOV functions for various businesses and be flexible enough to switch to speaking to several communities on the same day. You must comprehend the value of engaging in direct communication with a brand's audience and frontline community management.
- The goal is to connect businesses to the center of the activity by consistently delivering high-caliber text, community, and content management across many accounts. Editorial storylines, long-term content planning, and real storytelling are more crucial than ever in the current environment.
Principal obligations
- Create consistently excellent social media copy for posting on various social media platforms.
- Engage with the community across a variety of sports and sports fashion companies while managing the daily community management for big brands.
- Manage channels and content for well-known sports businesses.
- Keep track of publishing toolkits and editorial planning schedules for various clients.
- Be a defender of your client's tone of voice by ensuring that the level of writing and material on all the accounts you are in charge of is high.
- Qualitative analysis of various sports brands
- Identifying storylines and insights for athletes, brand advocates, and sports businesses
- Contribution to the department's daily newsrooms

- A year's worth of ideal publishing or journalism experience, preferably in sports,
