Summary of the job

To ensure the long-term success of the Holt family of companies, the Technical Trainer is in charge of organizing and developing training curricula that support the needs of the divisions and manufacturers. This is done by improving technician skills through our training programs.

Essential Purposes

  • Creating and utilizing training aids, presentations, videos, materials, equipment, and tooling is a part of developing a curriculum.
  • Make schedules and lesson plans for training sessions that adhere to the learning objectives outlined by management and employee evaluations.
  • Develop individual training evaluations, analyze training needs, and evaluate outcomes for learners' foundational training requirements in collaboration with the training director, divisions, and departments.
  • As needed, assist with the creation and implementation of the apprenticeship program.
  • aid in the investigation and monitoring of the training requirements of the trainees, and offer suggestions for substitute training methods or projects.
  • To successfully and efficiently coordinate and record classes, use the training resources required to perform training as specified before and after exercise.
  • After each lesson, evaluate the training that was successfully completed.
  • Assist in creating the training calendar and do other tasks as required.

Knowledge and/or expertise

A college degree or technical school certificate, three years of training, and/or experience as a diesel, automotive, or construction equipment technician are all required.

Compensation

Annual Salary is $75,000 to $80.000
Pay Range Based on Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
